ArcGIS Online Across the K-12 Curriculum

This fall, the Vermont Geographic Alliance will offer two-day Saturday workshops for educators interested in learning how to use ArcGIS Online as an instructional tool. The third and final series will be held at Castleton University on November 12 and 19 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Lunch will be provided. Upon completion, participants will receive a $100 stipend, mileage reimbursement, certificates of completion recognizing professional development hours, and access to the VGA Google+ Community where they can connect with Vermont educators who use ArcGIS Online in their K-12 classrooms. Use of ArcGIS Online in ELA, Social Studies, and Earth Sciences will receive particular attention. Prior knowledge of GIS or ArcGIS Online is not required.
