Dedicated to geography education since 1991

The Vermont Geographic Alliance (VGA) was established in 1991 by K-12 teachers, college and university faculty, and interested citizens. The VGA is part of a nationwide alliance movement which includes all 50 States

We are supported by a grant from the National Geographic Society Education Foundation and in-kind support from Castleton State College and Saint Michael's College. Our partners include the State Department of Education. The VGA Coordinator for the 2012/2013 Program Year is Scott Roper of Castleton State College.
